As Industry 4.0 evolve and be more prevalent in manufacturing processes and supply chains, it is important for companies – particularly automotive manufacturing companies in light of exponential innovation and industry dynamism – to gain updates on the implications these technologies and processes bring forth to their businesses in the coming years.
By being aware of these impacts and taking steps to prepare for the changes, OEMs and their suppliers will be empowered to position themselves for success in an increasingly digital world.
Adopting a holistic framework for assessing the current status quo and developing a step by step roadmap will be beneficial for the industry players to further value add to their customers by improving productivity, quality and managing costs.
